Locally heavy rain will remain possible overnight, with any showers and storms. Areas likely to see additional heavy rain will likely be east of I-25 and along HWY 50 from Canon City eastward. Remember, a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through 6pm Wednesday, where another day of thunderstorms is possible. The name of the man killed in a rollover crash near La Veta has been released.
The State Patrol says the victim is 56-year-old Raymond Campbell of Aurora.
The crash happened at about noon on Friday.
Our crew at the scene says the driver was headed east on Highway 160 when his car flipped. The State Patrol is investigating excessive speed and alcohol or drugs as possible factors in the crash.
The crash closed Highway 160 at mile marker 293 in both directions for a couple of hours. This is just outside La Veta.
