I-25 has reopened near Walsenberg after a serious crash shut the interstate down late Tuesday night.
A woman was headed southbound near mile marker 50 when she crashed. Her vehicle was the only one involved, and she was the only person in the car.
Emergency workers had to extricate her from the vehicle, and she was then airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. She is expected to recover.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
