Pikes Peak Highway Closing For Filming

By: AP
By: AP

Portions of the Pikes Peak Highway will be closed to visitors while Universal Pictures crews shoot a film on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5.

The director of the film, which has not been identified, requested the highway be closed to visitors while shooting because of several shots that involve a long setup time.

The highway will reportedly be open Labor Day weekend and the Pikes Peak Cog Railway will operate during normal hours during the closures.
