Officer Claims Girlfriend Hit Him With Bieber Doll

A police officer arrested in January for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend is claiming she attacked him with a Justin Bieber doll.

DENVER (AP) -- A Denver police officer accused of beating his girlfriend claimed that she attacked him with a Justin Bieber doll.

Authorities arrested Officer Michael Nuanes Jr. in January on assault charges. He was released from jail on $1,500 bond.

According to KMGH-TV, Nuanes says the doll injured his foot. He also accused the girlfriend of kicking him, biting his finger and choking him, according to an Adams County Sheriff's Office report.

No charges were filed against the woman.
