Actress Yvonne De Carlo, who fans of "The Munsters" remember as Lily, has died. She was 84.
De Carlo had a long career, largely in B-movies. But for generations of kids glued to the T-V watching endless reruns, she'll forever be Herman Munster's beloved wife, who stood by the bumbling Frankenstein's monster through all his misadventures.
While the show only lasted two seasons back in the mid-1960s, it led to two feature films. She was the last of the big stars from that show. The actors who played Herman and Grandpa died earlier.
Along with "The Munsters," De Carlo is also remembered for playing the wife of Moses in the epic motion picture "The Ten Commandments."
A friend says Yvonne De Carlo died of natural causes Monday at the Motion Picture and Television facility near Los Angeles.
