Maybe books and magazines aren't falling by the wayside after all.
A new survey of e-Book readers reveals that most surveyed have largely not abandoned traditional printed materials, instead splitting their time between the two. More than half say they still read printed materials more than e-Books.
Only 10 percent said they exclusively use e-Books.
The survey also showed that more people are reading, period. Four out of five responders say they read for pleasure last month.
The survey was conducted by USC Dornsife and the Los Angeles Times. Fifteen hundred Californians were interviewed.
