The login credentials for close to half a million users have been posted on a hacker's website.
More than 453,000 e-mail addresses and passwords have been breached.
The company isn't saying much about how the breach happened, but a group calling itself the D-33-D Company has apparently claimed responsibility for the attack. The group says it is trying to show how vulnerable companies like Yahoo are to security breaches.
The company advises anyone who thinks their account has been compromised to change their password right away. Also, check the inbox and contact list to make sure all data is still there.
