Experts say this allergy season is shaping up to be a tough one with the sodden earth boosting tree pollen and mold in many regions of the country.
It's something the legions of sufferers with itchy eyes and fits of sneezing already know.
Allergy specialists around the country all say this season is or has been a bad one. Experts say over-the-counter remedies work but there are other things people can do.
Dr. William Reisacher is director of the allergy center at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
He tells patients to avoid tossing clothes worn outside on the bed and to shut bedroom windows to prevent pollen from coming inside in the early morning, when counts are highest.
