A new study finds the type of formula you feed your baby could have an impact on weight gain.

The study in the journal Pediatrics found babies who drank cow milk formula gained weight faster, putting them at greater risk for obesity and diabetes.

Researchers say babies who drank formulas made with proteins that are pre-digested gained less weight. Babies usually drink pre-digested formula when they have a milk or soy allergy because it's easier to tolerate.
