The Recipe For Healthy Gums Might Be A Little Fishy

Fish oil may protect against gum disease.

A study found people who ate fish and other foods with polyunsaturated fats had a reduced risk of developing the condition. Gum disease is connected to tissue inflammation, and research shows that fish oil can help lower inflammation.

Polyunsaturated fats are also found in nuts and peanut butter.
