A new health survey shows that a majority of adults in Colorado exercise regularly.
According to a survey conducted by HealthCare Research Inc., seven out of 10 adults in Colorado exercise at least three days a week. Based on the survey, men are more likely than women to exercise at least five days a week. Of the people who said they exercised five or more days a week, 41 percent of them reported not having children.
The results were collected through a telephone survey of 1,107 Colorado adults. Survey takers were also given an online option to answer questions. The survey didn’t specify what it was considering exercise for purposes of collecting data.
Livewell Colorado commissioned the survey to encourage more people to get active and make healthy choices.
