A new national survey finds that one out of five pregnant Caucasian women smoke. That’s nearly 22 percent rate is higher than other races.
The survey was on drug use and health.
It found 14 percent of African American women and 6 percent of Hispanic women admitted to smoking during pregnancy.
The report also found around 12 percent of moms drank alcohol while pregnant.
