Nighttime Web Surfing Might Be Bad For Kids

Too much time on the Internet before bed may hurt more than a child's sleep.

New research finds that texting or surfing the Web at night can impact a child's attitude or behavior the next day. According to a study conducted at JFK Medical Center in Edison, N.J., half of the kids who used their computer or cell phones before bed showed mood and cognitive problems.

Nearly 80 percent also had trouble falling asleep.
