DENVER (AP) -- The University of Denver has sent a letter informing students and parents of a confirmed case of tuberculosis in one of its students.
KUSA-TV in Denver reports the university told students Monday that the ill student has been moved off campus and is undergoing treatment.
Tuberculosis is a bacterial infection that typically attacks the lungs but also can attack other organs. Left untreated, it can be fatal. Symptoms include night sweats, fever, weight loss and fatigue.
