DEA Drug Take-Back Day Collects 276 Tons

276 tons of unwanted or expired medications were collected by the DEA-led National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 28. In Colorado, 17,646 pounds were collected.

The medications were collected at 5,659 take-back sites in all 50 states.

The drugs delivered to each collection site are gathered and destroyed.
