If you don't have health insurance and don't have access to it through an employer, you have until March 31, 2014 to enroll.
But if you'd like coverage to begin in January 2014, you need to enroll by Monday, December 23.
So far more than 10,000 Coloradans have signed up. They are choosing from 10 different insurance companies, which are offering a total of 150 different plans.
Those who enroll have until January 10 to make their first payment.
You also can call the state hotline which has expanded its hours.
State experts are now taking calls seven days a week. Monday through Saturday, the hotline is open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. On Sunday, December 15 and Sunday, December 22 the state hotline is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The state hotline number is 1-855-752-6749.
