Flu, flu and more flu... it's here and here to stay. In fact, the health department says that large numbers of flu cases will continue over the coming weeks.
But there's another illness going around that is flu-like. That's according to Dr. Tom Bartlet with Mountain View Medical Center in the central part of Colorado Springs.
He says its a 48-hour flu-like gastro-intestinal illness. Here's what you'll notice: muscle pain, abdominal pain, fever, nausea and vomiting.
Dr. Bartlett says you should do what you can to keep your fever down, get lots of fluids and lots of rest. Again this is a 48-hour bug... So hopefully you'll be on the mend soon.
