Sweets May Have Genetic Link for Kids


When it comes to sweets, some children really can't help themselves.

British researchers found kids who ate more cookies or sweets were likely to have a gene linked to larger body size, causing them to overeat.

The results suggest some children may be hardwired to over-indulge in snacks and sweets. Parents should consult their pediatricians for more information.
