As the economy gets worse, it may mean a bigger waistline.  It turns out, bad times may make you gain weight.

The findings hearten proponents of a theory that it's possible to be “fit and fat.” (CBS/The Early Show)

The nation's sinking economy may take a toll on your waistline.

Experts fear people will pack on quote-recession pounds even if they cut back on food spending.

They point to numerous studies linking obesity and unhealthy eating habits to low incomes.

This since cheap food is often high in calories, but low in nutritional value.
