A birth control pill for men? A new study says it could be available in the United States as early as next year.
The pill is believed to be 98% effective in preventing pregnancy. Doctors say it works much like the pill for women, providing small doses of hormones to decrease sperm levels.
There haven't been any long term studies. Making it hard to predict side effects, but health officials say it might cause a little weight gain.
An injectable and pill form of the contraceptive are already available in other countries.
