Another Southern Colorado school is closing its doors because of a flu outbreak. Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning in Falcon has cancelled classes for Friday.

On the school's website, the principal has posted a message, apologizing for the inconvenience. However, Don Knapp writes several students and staff members have come down with the flu in the past few days, and he wants to keep more people from getting sick.

Earlier this month, James Irwin Charter School in Colorado Springs shut down, after 15% of students and 30% of teachers called in sick on one day.

Health officials say it's not too late to get your flu shot.
