Pediatric Specialists Look To Decrease Children's Ad Exposure For Alcohol and Tobacco

The American Academy of Pediatrics is calling for a ban on all tobacco ads and new limits on alcohol advertising.

The organization says that the more than $25 billion worth of cigarette, alcohol and prescription drug advertising works against efforts to keep children and teens from experimenting with drugs.

The group insists that its the legal drugs like alcohol and tobacco that pose the greatest dangers to kids, because they are among the earliest drugs used.
