For the second day in a row, Mitt Romney is expected to get an endorsement from a former rival.
Michele Bachmann, once a presidential hopeful herself, will endorse Romney at an event in Virginia Thursday afternoon.
Bachmann dropped out fairly early on in the primaries, after a disappointing showing in Iowa.
The endorsement could potentially help Romney with the most conservative in the GOP, who have long been suspicious of just how attuned to their positions he really is. Romney had a moderate record as Massachusetts governor, but has since moved further to the right, calling himself "severely conservative" earlier this year.
Bachmann's endorsement comes one day after Newt Gingrich dropped out of the race and told his supporters to vote for Romney.
