President Obama in Fort Collins on August 28, one of his recent visits to Colorado.
For the third time in less than a month, President Obama is in Colorado for a campaign event.
Colorado is viewed by both parties as a critical swing state for the upcoming election, one that very well could decide who wins the presidency in November. Voters in the state have been courted vigorously by both candidates.
Thursday morning, Obama appeared at a grassroots event at Lions Park in Golden. Jefferson County is seen as particularly critical; Republicans believe that the key to winning back the state of Colorado, which went blue in 2008, is winning Jefferson County. Jefferson County was once considered a Republican stronghold.
Obama arrived at Buckley Air Force Base Wednesday night.
