New Federal Law Could Clear Up Conflict On Marijuana

There could be a resolution in the conflict between the federal government's laws and Colorado's laws about marijuana.

A new bill would assure that state laws on pot are respected by the feds.
It would amend the controlled substances act to make it clear that people and businesses that comply with state marijuana laws are immune to federal prosecution.

18 states including Colorado have medical marijuana laws. Colorado also has new recreational marijuana laws.
