What bothers me is these guys make promises, but never explain HOW they will do it. Bring jobs into the Springs, spend less, tax less, rivers made of chocolate, etc. Man, who WOULDN'T like to bring more jobs into the town while simultaneously reducing taxes and spending less, and improving services in the community? You pull that off, and you are set as mayor for LIFE. Problem is, they never really say how it will get done, because odds are, they don't know either. They forget that there are tradeoffs, constraints, problems blocking certain things, and budget wrangling. They don't want to tax people because it makes them unpopular, yet the people still want their bread and circus. You want my vote? Be honest with me. "We have to raise taxes to pay for 'x', and the budget is laid out on our website explaining what we decided and how we decided it." As of right now, for all we know, they have manatees pushing "idea balls" into chutes.
