Democrat John Hickenlooper has a big fundraising lead over Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes and American Constitution Party challenger Tom Tancredo going into the final two weeks of the campaign.
Records made public Tuesday by the secretary of state shows Hickenlooper raising $387,000 from Sept. 30 to Oct. 13, bringing his total for the campaign to $3.7 million.
Tom Tancredo had a huge surge in fundraising, collecting $220,000 for a total of $682,000, while Maes, who has struggled because of questions about his character, raised $22,000 for a total of $304,000.
