There could be changes to certain marijuana laws in Colorado.

Lawmakers will discuss a measure to broaden a ban on certain types of edible marijuana products. The measure would include certain products that mimic other foods or candies.

Debate over the measure comes amid concerns that children can accidentally eat the pot edibles. But some marijuana activists fear the bill could ban any kind of edible pot.

The proposed bill would adopt rules requiring that marijuana edibles be clearly marked or designed to show that they contain pot.

Lawmakers are taking up the issue at 1:30 Thursday afternoon. We'll let you know what happens.
