Governor Hopefuls Making Final Campaign Push Monday

Colorado's candidates for governor are making their final push to win votes Monday.

American Constitution Candidate Tom Tancredo is holding two rallies Monday: one in Centennial and another in Parker. Also Monday, Democrat John Hickenlooper and his running mate, Joe Garcia, are touring the eastern plains by bus. They are making stops in Limon, Burlington, Yuma and Fort Morgan. Republican candidate Dan Maes and his supporters plan to wave campaign signs during rush hour in downtown Denver Monday evening.

The latest numbers in a CNN poll show that Hickenlooper is in a tight race with Tancredo. The polls show Hickenlooper with a slight lead: 47 percent to 42 percent. It shows Dan Maes with just 5 percent of the possible vote.

Depends on which poll is the latest. FOX News poll earlier today has Tancredo 3 points behind Hickenlooper - 47% to 44% with Maes at 6%. A 3% difference is a dead heat statistically because of what they call a margin of error.
