Fremont County commissioners voted unanimously to opt out of retail marijuana Tuesday.
The decision was made at the Board of Fremont County Commissioners meeting and public hearing.
The meeting was standing room only as people on both sides came to give their opinions.
Several employees from marijuana facilities came to explain their view on industry jobs and how it impacts Fremont.
People supporting the ban explained their concern for property values, crime and how recreational marijuana could affect youth.
This does not impact Fremont County's medicinal marijuana regulations.
