Preparations are well underway for election day. In Colorado Springs, more than 250 election judges picked up equipment for their polling location on Monday at El Paso County's Distribution Center.
Election officials say it takes about three months to get the equipment inventory ready for Monday, which is known as black bag Monday.
This year, the equipment is being tracked electronically.
"It's more less a bar code system. It checks to make sure we get everything out the door," said Rich Jones, Distribution Center Supervisor.
On Tuesday night, when judges return the equipment, the electronic system will flag anything that is still outstanding.
