A second lawmaker will now face a recall election.
The Secretary of State's Office announced that they have determined the petition submitted to recall Senator Angela Giron of Pueblo was sufficient.
Giron argued the petition is not valid because it was improperly worded.
It is the same argument Democratic Senate President John Morse made. It was later rejected and his attorney has vowed to appeal.
Giron and Morse are being targeted for recall elections because of their support of gun control.
No word when the recall election will take place.
