Former President Bill Clinton will be in Colorado Monday to help kick-off early voting.
He's stumping for Sen. Michael Bennet, even though he didn't support the senator during the primaries. Back then, Clinton made the unusual step of a former president not backing an incumbent candidate from his own party when he backed Andrew Romanoff. Bennet beat Romanoff, and now faces a tough race against Republican Ken Buck. Clinton is now getting behind Bennet and offering his support.
Clinton will hold a rally Monday night at 8:15 in the Green Valley Ranch area, in the northeast part of Denver. The rally is part of a nationwide tour Clinton is making to support various Democratic candidates. Clinton was in California Sunday lending his support in the governor race, as well as for congressional candidates.
