ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann is lashing out at NBC for not apologizing or taking immediate disciplinary action for an off-color song played during her appearance on Jimmy Fallon's "Late Night."

Bachmann said Wednesday on the Fox News Channel that the Fallon show band displayed sexism and bias by playing a snippet of a 1985 Fishbone song. The title of the song is "Lyin' Ass B----."

Fallon has tweeted an apology to Bachmann for "the intro mess" during her appearance earlier in the week. But Bachmann expressed surprise that the TV network hasn't apologized or disciplined the show's Roots band.

Bachmann charged that she's the victim of a double standard because she's a conservative woman and said, "This wouldn't be tolerated if it was Michelle Obama."

Or Fallon could play the same song for the First Lady?

Bachmann is such an idiot. Oh no, we'll be sure to keep all those mean songs away from her, where they can't hurt her anymore! What does she expect from a lat night comedy show? To be treated with austere dignity and respect? NO! Why would that notion even cross her mind?

I wouldn't expect any respectful attitudes from Fallen or his house band, what a scumbag to disrespect a guest like that, but that is what is representing the TV industry these days.
