First Protests at the DNC

Dozens of activists on both sides of the abortion issue gathered outside a Planned Parenthood headquarters in Denver Saturday in one of the first demonstrations related to the Democratic National Convention.

Police remained largely out of sight despite heated verbal exchanges outside the new headquarters of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. The demonstrations lasted little more than an hour.

Prayer for Change member Kaitlin Mahoney of Washington says the group is calling attention to Barack Obama's support of abortion rights.

A vote for Obama is a vote for bigger government, higher taxes & all the extra baggage that comes with it. Think twice on Obama.
