Obama Asks For Colorado In Birthday Wish

Barack Obama has a special wish for his 47th birthday, which he celebrated with hundreds of friends and other admirers Monday in Boston.

The wish: "Indiana, Colorado and Virginia."

That was Obama's answer to a question from Senator John Kerry about what Obama wanted for his birthday. The reference was to three potential swing states that Obama hopes to win in November.

About 850 supporters attended last night's private fund-raiser at a downtown skyscraper overlooking Boston Harbor.

A dinner ticket cost $15,000 per individual, or $28,500 for a couple.

Obama was serenaded first by singer Harry Connick Junior and his 10-year-old daughter, Kate, and then by the entire room in an animated rendition of "Happy Birthday."

Kay it could not have been said better. I am also bothered by the statement O'Bama's wife made saying for the first she is proud of her country. Elect O'Bama and the Iraq war will have been for nothing, because O'Bama will bring the terrorist/muslums and freely let them in. O'Bama at that point would be right, we would no longer need the military because the terrorist will be right at home. O'Bama doesn't need the military, he will use his welcome mat. Think about that everytime you dog Bush, McCain, or the military!

    Well said Kay.

Here's a reason to believe in McCain. He cares enough to let money talk which is all Americans hear. http://www.nypost.com/seven/06232008/news/nationalnews/mccain_offers_300_million_for_new_auto_b_116832.htm He is trying to solve some of our current issues. I haven't seen Obama on this side of the coin, he wants us to give him money to hear him babble ? All I have seen from Obama is him not participating in our American Pledge of Allegience and wanting to remove our American Flag from an Airplane to replace it with an emblem of himself ??? Talk about self serving. You want him taking care of us ?? Obama's own representative dissed McCain's military career and if you think McCain's interest is not personal in Iraq well two of his OWN children are there. Obama is already talking about decreasing military effort ?? Why so we can be weak enough for his Muslim buddies to come in and raid America ?

I don't think Bush is a moron. I think he understands military strategies and I'm pretty sure Alex you're involvement in following politics and American History involves you serving your country by getting off the couch to get yourself another beer and if you even have a job you bought it with the extra bonus or stipulus check Bush made sure people have gotten the last few years. Obama is already on a tax raise. Oh, for you wondering how much Obama is caring about American pride, check this http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/airplane.asp A president who won't fly an airplane with an American flag on it ?? Why is that? Tom have a beer with Alex, that's your mentality. You will be living in a tax risen hell hole who let people starve to death with incapcitated against the wishes of their family (check Obama's stance on Terri Schivaro, even he admits he was wrong on not speaking up)overridden by his Muslim buddies. Open your eyes people, Obama is ANTI AMERICAN.

For starters McCain is not a muslum. McCain did not attend an anti American,an ti white, and anti government church for twenty years and refused to denounce the preacher until O'Bama knew he had to. Bush did what was necessary to maintain our freedom. Do you think for minute that O'Bama will do the same? He has clearly stated what he will not do. Paul, O'Bama has no clue other than to line his pocket with the almighty dollar. Oprah must have taught him well. Your right though, we need to take care of our own.

Only $15000 a ticket....let me have 5 please. And these are probably the same people that want normal folks to give 10% of thier pay to some third world country to feed their starving people. HELLOOOO $15000 a ticket..do you have any idea how many starving "AMERICANS"" right here in our own country you could feed for $15000. I hate politicians!!!

So Rick, give me a reason why I should vote for McCain?? Do I think Obama is the answer to it all?? No but at least its something different from whats going on now...all I see is more of the same from McCain...

Hey Tom that beats terrorist/terrorism any day of the week. Will you do us all a favor and crawl back into the woodwork in which you crawled out of?
