Obama Opening Southern Colorado Campaign Offices

Barack Obama's campaign is opening offices in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, along with 2 others across the state.

So far, McCain's office has one office in Denver. His campaign tells 11 News there are currently no plans to open more.

Obama's campaign says the idea is to reach our to Coloradans, and help elect Democrats statewide.

Official grand opening celebrations will take place on Tuesday, July 15 at the following locations:

Denver
1355 S. Colorado Blvd, Suite C-720
Speaker: Colorado State Treasurer Cary Kennedy
5:30 p.m.

Colorado Springs
218 S. Limit St.
Speaker: Sen. John Morse
5:00 p.m.

Pueblo
109 West B Street
Speaker: Sen. Abel Tapia
5:30 p.m.

Boulder
1725 Walnut St
6:00 p.m.
