Barack Obama is planning a campaign stop in Southern Colorado.

Obama's campaign says he'll be in Colorado Springs next Wednesday for an "invitation only" event.

So far no further details have been released.

Obama was last in Colorado on May 28th, when he toured a school in Thornton, then held a town hall meeting.

To those less educated - it's not always about race. Those with little to say usually head in that direction and themselves make it appear to be about something else. Get over it already!

Loretta, don't you know that the DEMONcRATS have been in charge of Congress for the last 2 years?

Yeah Bobby Jo, I dont know whats scarier...the economy/global warming/troops dying/poverty or you wanting everything to stay the same with McCain...

Oh look! the messiah is here! Ugh. I don't know what's scarier, the fact that Obama sees himself as the second coming, or that people actually believe his blithering load of bull.

I can't believe what some of you idiots are saying on here. If you think that our economy is going to get any better with another 4 years of a Bush advocate (McCain)then you must be walking around here blind. I think everyone should is tired of paying 4 dollars a gallon in gas, our troops dying for no reason, and houses going into forclosure. Barack is the only chance we have to get outta this slump. So THANK YOU Barack for stepping up and trying to fix this mess the Bush administration has created!!!

Troy, you're not even worth an answer, but... of course our enemies hate us and terrorist hate everyone.

"Angel", "Support Bush" and "Lex": Sound bites are things that are taken completely out of context and presented that way. All you people that say, "He'll open the door for terrorist." C'mon, kids. Stop being so scared of everything. Take a look at our borders and ask yourself how safe against "the evil terrorists" we are. The fact that the war in Iraq was started with lies and is completely illegal seems to escape everyone's minds. This country has no honor because it doesn't honor its own rules. All this nonsense of "you democrats/liberals" and "you right-wingers and republicans".... good grief kids...grow up. And you wonder why our enemies hate us? Take a look at yourselves and our society. It's a bunch of immature, scared little kids.

Nicole, the shift to claiming it being about race when someone dislikes Obama discounts those who truly have been affected by hate crimes. I see a mix below of lack of substance from both McCain and Obama supporters. Change does need to happen and neither McCain or Obama is the one to deliver it. One is a hot head and stubborn and the other while an engaging inexperienced person who will have to rely on the established fail Dem to led and advice him. This country is in trouble when it has the choice of dumb and dumber

During the Democratic primaries I was in favor of Obama, for what he said and how he said he would do it. After the primaries, he has changed his colors and he has shown himself to be pandering to what he believes voters want. He has changed his view on the public finance and funding, he is now saying NAFTA isnt so bad and recently the public funds for religious outreach programs. He is no different now than all the other politicians who change their colors to camouflage from issues and their promise , they blend in with what the perceived voter demand is. Looking at the facts of what he wants to do with taxes and energy policy, he will lead us directly into a pit, a very deep pit!!!!
