Former President Bill Clinton acknowledges the Democratic campaign has gotten pretty negative in the run-up to Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary, but he says the race is too important to focus on personal attacks.
He says "It's too big to be little about."
Clinton told about 400 people at a firehouse in a Philadelphia suburb last night that the most important issues are restoring the economy and restoring America's standing in the world.
He says there's been "a lot of good and some silliness" in this campaign.
The former president campaigned for his wife across Pennsylvania Sunday.
