Barack Obama says he'd consider putting Al Gore in a Cabinet-level position.
The Illinois Democrat was asked about Gore during a campaign stop in Pennsylvania today. Obama said he hoped Gore would play a central role in helping the U.S. address the problems associated with climate change.
He says Gore is someone he talks to on a "regular basis."
Gore's is perhaps the most coveted Democratic endorsement in the race between Obama and rival Hillary Rodham Clinton. The relationship between Gore and the Clintons soured during the 2000 presidential race. That's when Gore limited Bill Clinton's campaigning on his behalf.
