John McCain Back On Campaign Trail After Short Break

After a little break, Republican presidential hopeful John McCain heads to Texas Monday for an appearance in Lubbock and a town hall meeting in Waco.

McCain enjoyed a little down time Sunday, grilling barbecue and playing host and tour guide to reporters and politicians at his Arizona getaway.

Victories Tuesday in Ohio, Texas, Vermont and Rhode Island could put McCain over the magic number of 1,191 delegates needed to win the GOP nomination.

All McCain did Sunday though was offer cooking tips and exchange quips with a few dozen reporters at the informal culinary event. Cameras and tape recorders were banned.

On Saturday, McCain planned strategy with a group of Republican governors and senators who have supported his candidacy.
