Bill Clinton has asked Texas voters to support his wife in Tuesday's primary, calling her the only candidate who would leave the country better off at the end of her term.

The former president said at a Houston rally undecided Democrats should make their choice on how they'll feel at the end of a president's time in the White House, not on their feelings after a rally.

While his wife pressed for support in Ohio, Bill Clinton spent Sunday on a campaign blitz of the Lone Star State, making stops in four towns. He'll make final pitches to Texas voters in more than a half dozen towns today.

Hillary Rodham Clinton returns to Texas Monday. She'll have a televised town hall meeting in Austin.
