Woman Robbed At Springs Hotel, Police Searching For Suspect


Officers are searching for a suspect involved in an assault and robbery at a Springs hotel Wednesday morning.

According to police, a woman reported being hit several times and robbed of $200 while at a Staybridge Suites on the 7000 block of Commerce Center Drive. The robbery took place around 9 a.m. The suspect left on foot, and was last seen walking towards a nearby gas station. He was overheard calling someone on his cell phone to ask for a ride.

The suspect has been described as a black man in his 20s, standing about 5'4". He was wearing a white fisherman’s hat, blue bandanna and black hoodie at the time of the robbery. Anyone with any information is asked to notify police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

    wow did you say he was a wearing a fishermans hat, blue bandana sounds like alot like the same guy we are looking for here in florida. must have tooken the wrong turn but clever disguise it is unfortanate you will not be wearing that out fit in PRISON looser.

    Well, you have to understand, the liberals aka ACLU have got to protect the bad guys. They will get a fair trial and be "rehabilitated" at taxpayer expense before being released to do it again.

    Seems like a lot of robberies lately here in the springs. The same Walgreens has been hit 3 times. Can these employees arm themselves? Prob, against the law--favs the criminals.
