She was just a few feet away from her apartment when a gun was aimed at her.
Her assailant ordered her to the ground and threatened to shoot her if she looked at him. As she kept her eyes locked on the ground, the suspect grabbed her purse and ran off.
Police say the robbery happened in the 3800 block of Lakehurst Drive, near Jetwing and Academy, at about 8:30 p.m.
The suspect has been described as a 20-something black man, 5-foot-6 with a medium build, dressed head-to-toe in dark clothing: a black hat, black hoodie and black pants.
Police are currently investigating the possibility that the robbery is connected to one 90 minutes earlier earlier on nearby Painted Sky View.
If you saw anything suspicious in that area, please call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
