In flip flops and shorts, a man strolled into a Wells Fargo Bank Thursday afternoon and demanded that the teller give him cash.
After receiving an unknown amount of money, the bank robber walked out of the building as casually as he walked in. Springs police say he was last seen walking east from the 5000 block of Constitution, where the bank is located.
The robbery happened just after 4:30 p.m. No one was injured. Police did not say if a weapon was used.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned or very tanned white male in his 30s, wearing a dark shirt. If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
