Police are searching for an armed suspect who reportedly robbed the Walmart store on South 8th Street in Colorado Springs.
Police say the initial reports indicate that the suspect, a black male, robbed one of the checkout registers at gunpoint. He put the money in a cooler bag, and ran out.
The suspect is described as being about 6-feet tall and 25-30 years of age. He was wearing a dark jacket and a green beanie.
Police are checking surveillance footage to see if it can help to solve this case.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
