Victim Stabbed In The Back After Refusing To Lend Money

A disagreement over money has left one man in the hospital.

Police say that two men were smoking marijuana at Acacia Park, on the 100 block of N. Tejon, late Saturday night. The victim was asked by his companion for money, and refused to give any. When leaving the park, the suspect stabbed the victim in the back. The victim fled the area, and has been taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect has been described as a 40-year-old Hispanic man, about 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9, wearing a grey hoodie at the time of the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
