Rather than attempting to pick a lock or break a window, crooks used a vehicle twice overnight in order to break into Springs businesses.

The suspects first drove a car into the Ace Pawn Loan on North Academy near Carefree Circle, getting away with several items, though the owners haven't determined what all was stolen.

About 45 minutes later, police got a call that a car had once again crashed into a local business, this time striking medical marijuana dispensary Third Day Apothecary on North Academy near Flintridge. At this time, it's unknown if the suspects stole anything.

Police have a suspect vehicle for the second break-in: a dark-colored Nissan Titan with a Colorado license plate. The vehicle should have significant rear-end damage.

Anyone with information on either of these crimes is asked to call police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP to remain anonymous.
