Police have arrested a Denver resident on charges stemming from two bank robberies in Colorado Springs. The most recent robbery occurred Thursday.

According to CSPD spokesperson Barbara Miller, the suspect is identified as Mark Osterloo, 45. His photo is not being released.

Police accuse Osterloo of walking into the Vectra Bank at 5710 Palmer Park Blvd. at 11:36 a.m. Thursday and demanding money. He allegedly told bank employees he was carrying a weapon and was able to get away with some cash.

Osterloo is also accused in connection with the robbery of the Bank at Broadmoor branch located on the 400 block of Chapel Hills Dr. In that case, police say he used a note and no weapon was seen. Cash was also taken in that robbery.
