Police are asking for the public's help to identify the people responsible for putting large rocks in the road.

More than a dozen vehicles have been damaged, but police say so far no one has been hurt.

Fountain police say those rocks were deliberately placed on Powers Blvd. just south of Fontaine Ave. It usually happens in the early morning.

There have been several incidents starting in June 2013. Police say they believe the people responsible live in the area.

11 News talked to one neighbor who says this crime is upsetting.

"I think it's very stupid that you would want to do something like that to damage a person's car, much less hurt someone," Donna Boyd said.

The suspects could face felony charges because of the cost to fix the damaged vehicles.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fountain police at 719-382-8555 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
